I've been taking pictures all my life. Photography became a serious hobby nearly 20 years ago and has been part of my work mix for about the last eight.

I embraced digital photography very early and I've now lost count of exactly how may digital cameras I've owned.. I think my current Nikon D200 could be number 10. Today I still pursue photography partly for the pure joy of it and harbor hopes that one day the "hanging on the wall" part of my work will be a larger part of the mix.

Professionally the primary areas I focus on are the following:

Event Photography
Corporate functions, conferences, social gatherings of all kinds

Product Photography
Small and not so small items on the tabletop and sometimes on location

People
Headshots, an occasional corporate portrait and informal shots for Facebook, Match.com etc.

Kids
No Sears portraits but I'm game to run around in nature and capture children being children

Microstock
Sort of work, sort of an online game or hobby. I throw everything at this digital wall and see what sticks
